My story takes place in the same fictional Colorado that has legalized National Nude Day as many of my Nude Day Stories. I was only going to write a single story this year, but Avery and Tess from A Wandering Muse at Camp insisted on another adventure.
Avery – A decade from now, National Nude Day in a small Colorado mountain town
Tess paced back and forth, holding the neck of her violin awkwardly as she tried to keep from hyperventilating. This wasn’t the first time Avery and her wife had performed for an audience, but never had they had so many people awaiting their set. Avery peeked through the curtain out to the amphitheater. Is this half the town? In the front row, she saw the four friends that had come on the trip with them, as well as the set of six new friends they had met on vacation.
Devin had his camera clutched in his hand. He was the only one sanctioned to take pictures at the performance, and they knew he’d do an excellent job keeping Tess and Avery anonymous, but Avery doubted the venue could police all cell phones. Avery had been the subject of her wife’s lens several times; however, there was something different about someone other than her soulmate taking the photos. Tess seemed to place an inordinate amount of trust in the man she’d only known for a few days, but Ori and Blake vouched for him.
“You sure you want to do this, babe?” Avery reached out to grab her wife’s hand, the one with the bow in it.
“Of course. This is your fantasy, isn’t it, Av?” Tess gave her a gleaming smile, but Avery could see the worry pulsing beneath.
Next year would be ten years since everything in Avery’s life changed in a crescendo of a summer. Avery was supposed to be at Camp Winslow for only a single week, as she was a counselor for her younger sister. An accident involving who should have been the camp’s computer expert and a lost internship presented Avery with an opportunity to teach campers to code all summer. After a rough start, it led to the discovery that she loved teaching on top of doing computer engineering. That would eventually lead her to get her doctorate so she could become a professor of computer engineering.
The far more momentous discovery, though, was the woman holding her hand. Prior to the summer, Avery had never harbored as much as a crush on another woman. One night, when Avery was driven from her bunk by a nightmare, she discovered Tess’s nocturnal activities. The incredible woman was playing her violin as a camera captured her dancing and playing. Although it took weeks for Avery to come to terms with it, she’d fallen for the remarkable young woman in a single night. Unbeknownst to her, a similar reaction had befallen her now wife.
“Is it only mine?” Avery asked as she leaned in for a kiss.
“No.” Tess’s kiss was hungry. They hadn’t been able to carry out their usual pre-concert ritual, which seemed to settle their nerves, as the rental house was overloaded with visitors all day, and Tess liked to be loud. “I kinda want to do this before next summer.”
“Scared that you won’t be able to get back in shape?” Avery had zero apprehension that her wife wouldn’t look exquisite to her no matter what the future brought. “You saying that I didn’t?” She teased.
“No! Of course not! You look somehow better since Addy.”
“Good answer.” Avery collected another kiss.
Addison Grace Ernst was their first child, whom Avery gave birth to a little over a year and a half earlier. They debated for quite a while which of the pair would be the first to be pregnant. Tess contended that she was a couple years older, so it made sense for her to go first, but the schedule worked out for Avery. Addy had been the best thing to happen in their lives, and Tess was going to have their second about this time next year if everything went as planned.
Their daughter was staying at Camp Winslow with her grandparents this week. Tess’s mom and stepfather insisted on a week watching Addy so that her mothers could spend the week revitalizing their love. Addy had three cousins from Tess’s stepbrother Carl and Molly’s kids and another pair of unofficial cousins in Edith and Mateo’s pair of daughters. They were another pair of lifers who showed up to be counselors every summer and had become friends despite a sordid history between Mateo, Tess, and Avery. Camp Winslow, with found and actual family, was the perfect summer location for Addison to grow up. For most of the summer, Tess and Avery worked as counselors in the place where their love first bloomed.
“Though I don’t think I need my tits to get bigger like yours did.” Tess reached out the hand with the bow in it to toy with Avery’s chest as she giggled.
“They’re perfect already. Why did I already do your makeup!” Avery had to restrain herself before the show.
In the almost decade they’d been together, and their five years of wedded bliss, Tess had only gotten more attractive. The Nude Day concert would Kadıköy travesti be the first time that Tess had shared her favored way of playing her violin with anyone other than Avery. At least live, Tess had a few volumes of nude photography that she’d used a timer or Avery to procure as she danced and played her violin. Published under the name Quintessa Gossamer, Tess’s pseudonym was joined by Avelina Gossamer for her third volume.
Their aliases were married several years before the ladies eloped. Avery’s coming out was the final straw in the dissolution of her parents’ marriage, and although she never had any doubt that Tess was her soulmate, a lavish wedding was never in the cards for them.
Avery’s mother’s overreaction to her daughter being a lesbian led to a mental break, the end of which was leaving Avery’s car, filled with her childhood memories, abandoned on the train tracks near their home. There was a year of trials, and that was the last time that Avery saw her mother. After her time in prison, she ran away with the pastor she’d cheated on Avery’s father with. Avery still prayed that the woman would finally seek out the help she needed so she could begin to atone for her prior actions, but if it never happened, she was coming to terms with it.
“Think they’ll give us like twenty minutes of alone time before the concert?” Tess pulled her in close.
“Sadly, I think they have a schedule to keep, and we’re just the opening act.”
“I’ll have to wait until after to have my way with you.”
“We’ll have the house to ourselves all night.”
“I have a new toy for us to play with, too.” Tess’s smile got bigger as her eyebrows danced suggestively.
Tess was a tall, beautiful woman with rarely seen bright blonde hair. In their near-decade together, her hair, being its natural color, was a rarity. Avery loved the bright purple it had been the first night that she’d seen Tess dancing in the nude, but today’s regal shade of blue was equally enticing and brought out incredible shades in her pale blue eyes. Tess had gained weight when their lives became sedentary near the end of Avery’s pregnancy, but the extra mass had become lean muscle from trying to keep up with Avery’s running and Addy’s endless toddling.
If there was a more gorgeous pair of breasts in the world, they’d never been revealed. Avery had never seen anything equal to Tess’s pair. They were large, round, and unfairly perky. Tiny nipples were perfectly placed by the hand of a higher power. Although they were typically light pink in color, they were currently a matching sapphire blue to her shining hair color. It paired with the earrings Avery had gotten her for their last anniversary and a tiny blue stud on one nostril. Tess had once said those were temporary until she entered the professional world. She removed them for important meetings, but they never stayed gone long.
Tess had a strong core that narrowly avoided showing abs. Avery thought they had the right touch of softness that had her permanently addicted. A firm, pert bottom capped with long, lean, dancing-toned legs. Her woman’s incredible pussy was waxed, save for a small square at the crest that Tess called her canvas. Unsweetened blue raspberry Kool-Aid, with a measured touch of grape, dyed it the same shade of blue as her silver bow-wrapped ponytail. Today, she’d plucked it into the outline of mountains.
A lattice of paired silver and blue covered Tess’s arms and legs loosely in something akin to a cross between a sleeve and fishnets. They were tied into a bow at the back of her thighs and on her biceps. A scarf of braided silver and blue ringed her neck and flowed in twin tails swept over her shoulders. They would flow around her body as she danced. Avery was constantly hypnotized by the motion and pressed to figure out how they never interfered with the furious actions of her bow as she played.
“You two ready, or should I let Artie stall for a few minutes?” Bill, Artie’s late middle-aged, rugged husband, asked as he ducked his head around the corner.
“Y-yeah.” Avery’s voice quavered for a moment. A familiar calm suffused through her as Tess clutched her hand.
“We got this.” Tess nodded with a stoic expression.
Since the first night that Avery had stumbled upon her now wife’s dancing, she’d dreamed of showcasing Tess’s moves to the world. Yes, it had been in a few volumes of Quintessa Gossamer’s work, and the photos had been stunningly beautiful, but there was something special about seeing her in motion.
“I wish I could hold your hand during this.”
“I know what you mean, but it might be hard to play.” Tess’s face scrunched up most adorably as she giggled out a little nervous energy.
“You have a point. It’s just ten songs. We got this, right?” The set would primarily cover Lindsey Sterling and Caitlyn Quay songs with a dose of Avery and Tess Ernst originals. It’ll be eleven if it goes Kadıköy travestileri well. It would be the first time their self-written songs would be played for more than close friends and family. Avery’s heart pounded in her ears, even with the potent calming effect her wife could have on her. Tess loves my singing, will these people?
“Have I ever led you astray?” Tess stood taller before they swept out on the stage.
Is she going to like my lyrics? Avery had a surprise for her wife. Tess had written her own piece of music for which Avery had been working on lyrics. The piece was upbeat and emotional, with some killer violin solos ready-made into it. Avery was worried that her words were too simplistic, but they came from the heart and meant so much to their story. She’ll love it, but maybe the crowd won’t.
In Avery’s frequent fantasizing about sharing her woman’s capable talents with the world, never was she also naked. Nor was the audience participating in the nudity. It did make a ton of logical sense, as it was a common way that the pair practiced for gigs together. It was Nude Day in the only state in the union that recognized it, so they were going to enjoy it.
Tess – A few moments later
Avery April Ernst, née Ayers, was the only woman in the world who could induce Tess to walk out on the stage. Their relationship started out rocky for the first couple of weeks at Camp Winslow. That wasn’t Avery’s fault, not really. She could be introverted and quiet, but Tess had negatively associated her with the loss of spending the summer with the man who typically taught coding to the eager campers. The man had been one of her closest friends at the camp and made every summer she spent at the camp run by her now stepfather so much better.
One night changed everything. Tess was wrapping up the photos for the second volume of her book of images called A Wandering Muse when Avery stumbled upon Tess’s setup in the supposedly closed-off tech building at Camp Winslow. Her stepfather Lewis was supposed to be the only one with a key to the photo studio past lights out. Avery was also bestowed a key and decided that was the night to back up the students’ hard drives to network-attached storage.
Tess heard a noise and rushed into the hallway outside the classroom to catch who was peeping on her naked photo session. Instead of apprehending one of the male counselors who must have snuck into the tech building, Tess found a tall, gorgeous, auburn-haired woman blushing intensely. All it took was a single smile from Avery to melt Tess’s heart completely. It took weeks for the girls to finally give in to their feelings; neither had dated a woman before, but when they finally kissed, it was game over. Tess knew that every version of her future involved that wonderful woman.
The road hadn’t been easy; Avery’s mother discovering them kissing had led to a year of court cases, emptied bank accounts, and a car filled with childhood memories being sacrificed to a train because her mother couldn’t accept that her daughter was a lesbian. They not only persevered through the challenges but had forged an unbreakable bond. It helped that Avery’s father, family, and Tess’s parents were on board early on.
The tall, brilliant, funny, nerdy princess was Tess’s world until Addison came along. Instead of splitting allegiances, their daughter had expanded the love that Tess was capable of. In a few months, it would be Tess’s turn. They hadn’t decided between two or three kids but knew they each wanted to carry one of their children. As soon as they got home from Camp Winslow at the end of the summer, an appointment was scheduled to get the wheels turning and find a sperm donor.
“We can do this!” Avery breathed out as she picked up a wireless mic. She usually preferred either a mic on a stand or something clipped to her collar. She had nothing to clip a mic to, and her dancing would make a mic stand impractical. Her wife looked so distractingly cute in her glasses, even as the sun darkened the lenses and hid her spectacular eyes.
“We can do anything.” Tess nodded as she stooped to pick up the amplifier cable, careful not to show off more to the crowd than she was comfortable. Regardless of being naked in several volumes of nude photography books, some views were too intimate for anyone other than Avery.
Tess was used to playing at coffee houses like Artie’s the night that they came into town; not anywhere she needed an amplifier. The electronic violin was borrowed but, by a stroke of luck, was a shade of blue that worked with her ensemble. Looking out at the crowd, it seemed like at least half the city had shown up. If we hadn’t been good enough, they wouldn’t have asked us to be the opening act. Tess liked to appear calm, but her heart was racing.
“Let’s change it up. Start upbeat and go from there.” Avery stepped closer to collect their required good luck kiss at the start Travesti kadıköy of the show. Tess thought it was a not-so-subtle way to show that The Ernsts were a couple, not sisters. She relished every one of those kisses.
“Give me a sign, and I’ll follow your lead.” Tess leaned in for one more kiss. She wasn’t sure how something could rev her heart and calm her emotions, but Avery was always full of surprises.
Avery nodded with a thin smile. She was good at hiding her emotions from anyone other than her wife. She was at least as frightened as Tess, but it was too late to retreat. They were both naked, on stage at a large, red brick amphitheater in the middle of the picturesque Colorado mountain town. Behind them wound a river, likely filled with tourists, whitewater rafting in the early evening. Breathtaking mountains and the old bricks of the downtown provided a backdrop that Tess tried to concentrate on instead of the nearly thousand people arrayed on picnic blankets and lawn chairs in several states of undress.
“I know we’re not who the town was expecting.” Avery stood tall and proud in the middle of the dark wood of the stage, her auburn hair rippling in the soothing light breeze of the early evening. “I hope Carla’s voice comes back soon.” The crowd cheered for the local musician whose laryngitis had left an opening for The Ernsts to play the introductory act. “Give everyone a wave, Tess!” Avery turned with her stunning, winning, heart-stopping smile, and the world was suddenly alright.
“Hi everyone!” Tess held up her violin and gave her best wave.
“I just saw the main acts tour bus pull up, so what do you say we get this party started to welcome them?” Avery stepped to the front of the stage.
Brilliant auburn hair shined like a beacon in the light of the mountainside. Avery was typically only a couple inches taller than Tess, but tonight, she was wearing a knock-out set of silver and blue heels. The shoes were a rarity anywhere outside a gig, as Avery liked to wear tennis shoes. Tess had to admit that the posture she assumed made her already legendary, running-toned legs and ass look to be a value beyond perfection. Her eternal light tan complexion from her father’s side looked fantastic even as her tan lines faded from pool time at Blake and Ori’s every weekend in her current state of dress.
To accentuate her slender hips and complement her shapely bottom, Avery had silver and blue interwoven sashes tied into ornate bows on either hip. Tess loved the way they bounced with each step. The girls’ decorations didn’t so much match, as they complemented each other. Just above the sashes hung a gleaming sapphire from her belly button.
Avery’s waxed pussy had started because there was no privacy for the camp counselors to shave their legs during the summer. Even though she now had her own shower all summer long, Avery knew the powerful effect it had on Tess.
It had taken a while to convince Avery that Tess’s favorite physical feature on Avery was her pert, perfect breasts. Her love had thought they were on the small side. She wasn’t exactly wrong, but they had an unbelievable shape and supernatural perkiness that Tess adored. They’d grown during her pregnancy, and even after she was done nursing their baby, they retained an increase that made them even more breathtaking. Others may have seen them in Quintessa’s photos, but now, the audience had to see what enraptured Tess often.
“I hope some of the people my age know this one.” Avery smiled as she tapped her wrist twice with three fingers. It was her signal to start with the sixth song of their ten in the set. It was perhaps Caitlyn Quay’s most famous song from an American Animation studio that was heavily inspired by anime. The series had been an award winner and cultural phenomenon big enough that it was even imported into Japan.
Avery and Tess’s rendition of the song started with an extended violin solo as Tess danced across the stage. She concentrated on the incredible vista before her instead of the crowd as she vaulted and jumped around the stage. She was jealous of Avery’s wireless mic, so she could swirl and twirl on her heels around the stage as she sang joyfully.
They played the set of covers before they got into their own material. The final unoriginal song was “Brave Enough” by Lindsey Sterling. Avery admitted it was one of her favorite songs to sing with Tess back in the nebulous time between Avery discovering her and the life-altering kiss. Her wife would later admit that the refrain of being brave enough to love her was an attempt to figure out her simmering feelings for Tess. In those days, Tess played naked while Avery sang clothed.
Playing and singing in the buff wasn’t atypical; most of their practicing was done sans clothing, but never with an audience that was bigger than a few friends. Blake, Ori, Gwen, and Mitchell were the only ones who had seen them singing like this. Having them cheering from the front row helped things feel a little more normal.
Avery and Tess’s composure of the song ended up being decidedly more upbeat than intended, but for them, it had a happy ending. The end of it brought applause and one of Tess’s favorite parts of the whole set.
